That is right at NADA retail for a stock 1999 996 cpe with that mileage. If everything is as advertised, it's a good deal.
Do your homework though. With all the mods, I'd definitely get a PPI. Be smart on the money/title, etc. There are some scam artists on Craigslist. If something sounds hinky walk away.

Nice looking ride! Good luck, hope it pans out. There are a few thousand $ in options that I'd like to have on mine. With what is on it, its hard to believe the car has never been tracked.

Just make sure that you have them dump the computer for error codes when they do the PPI. You want to know if there has been any serious over-revving. If not, looks pretty with lots of add-ons. If the PPI checks out, and it drives fine, it could be a really nice deal. The paint looks nice. Sport seats, carbon fiber - pretty machine.
Your PPI test drive, and a look at the undercarriage should tell you if the car has suffered serious abuse. The fact that someone took it racing doesn't mean you should steer clear of it. It's really only a problem if the PO beat the car up while racing it. These cars were meant to be raced. They're built for it, as long as he didn't do something stupid - and now he's selling the problem to you. All the more reason for a careful PPI.

I do not automatically equate good suspension and exhaust into racing. Stock suspension is shot in my car when I bought mine at 67K miles. The height due to US DOT laws makes the stance looks like a SUV. We all know how unporsche like the stock exhaust sounds on a 996. That is why there is a 20+ page thread on modding the exhaust to make it sound better.
19" wheels are terrible for track. 996 suspension geometry is designed for 18" wheel max. PSS9s are only good for 15 or less track days annually. Do a search and there are many posts from people who track seriously will confirm with the above. Moreover, no one will install an expensive stereo, adding weight to the car, so they can go racing.
OP, This looks like a nice car that has been well taken care of by an enthusiast with no expenses spared. Get a good PPI and look for detailed maintenance records. I like it a lot.

Sounds like a good canidate, some of the mods are personal in nature, but if you like the car as modified and work at a Porsche dealer...what's the downside?
