BTW. I'm not sure everyone gets that I started this thread tongue-in-cheek. we need more light banter on this board. Unpucker for a minute and have a little fun.

That's why most of us drive Porsche's isn't it?

I wear flip-flops on the hot days, but I always take them off and drive barefoot. Driving with flip-flops is illegal in some countries for a reason! They cause accidents!

Big feet, seats not going far back.... A Hummer would be perfect.

I just buy two pair, throw away the shoes and wear the boxes.

I have a problem when I wear my running shoes. They are very wide in the arch/toe area. When I brake and press the clutch sometime the my clutch foot grabs the brake foot. This leads to very rapidly braking.

That happens to me when I drive automatic transsamissions - I "shift" but the clutch is a real big brake pedal - SORRY !! (as everyone flys forward towards the windscreen)

SIze 13 6E here. Yeah, when I walk barefoot in the sand people calim they saw bigfoot. I have no arch to speak of.

Haven't had any issues with the pedals as driving with flip flops (especially driving stick) is against safety regulations.

I guess I was thinking more of a sandal than a true flip flop. Of course we used to call them "thongs" when I was a kid. I certainly don't want to start a thread about people driving 996s wearing thongs...

That would depend on who is wearing the thong.

I certainly don't want to see anyone with a 13 6E foot weraing a thing. Yuck!

as long as it is gender specific I would not be opposed to such a thread
