I am guessing that when your window guy comes to replace your windshield, he brings the glass with him. He probably knows that if you procure the windshield, it won't fit!

problem with big company like safeglass and stuff, i assume they buy the cheapest windshield they can find ... hence may be more chipping down the road.

I think it is good to know exactly what they will replace before hand, keep us posted.
