Default Are C4S exhaust tips the same as turbo exhaust tips?

I found a set of quad-pipe turbo exhaust tips for sale locally. Are they the same as the C4S exhaust tips? I would assume I can bolt them right on, but I'm not sure...

I believe they are different. The double round "tips" in the turbo end bluntly with a c-clamp (unsure of diameter). I think the C4S tips have a piece of tubing that shoots up to mate with the end of the exhaust. This piece of tubing might be removable though...

They are the same for the Turbo and C4S... But the Turbo tips are bigger and C4S tips are smaller... when i had my "Turbo" Quard tips installed i had to put a Sleeve in to make it fit...

Now i dont think the C4S tips will work on a Turbo coz of the Size Issue

Which part is bigger? The tips I found are factory porsche X50 exhaust tips made by Eisenmann for a 996 turbo. Eisenmann part number EP 6120. They do have the clamps and hardware.

For some reason I've never fully understood (but I think it has to do with the C4S "big behind") there are virtually no aftermarket tips that work for the C4S. I've tried to order them from everywhere, but even the custom exhaust shops say that for C4S, you have to reuse your old tips... If you find a source of aftermarket ones (because who in their right mind would pay $800 for a new set from Porsche?), let us all know!

Those look a lot like the stock tips that came with the PSE on my car. The avatar pic should serve as a nice preview for you.

Dennis, check well when you mount them that they stick out (in the back) as much as possible.
About two or 3 years ago, I did this mounting (on a C4, not an S like yours), but, I think being a bit shorter than my original ones, it melted "a bit" the lower valance around the tips ..in both sides !

By the way, I think that I remember that the differences in diameter are between the 3.4 and 3.6 engines
