Glad you decided to take it on. I would have done it on a lift or jacks regardless. The cards just played right for me with the use of a lift. Feel free to PM me if you have questions. The rears are cake......the front will take a little longer. Just be patient with what you do. We are going to have start a sub-forum for X74's soon...alot of us are going this way.

Installed. Here is the comparison.

Top = old
Bottom = new




Ride is not that much harder and car handles more crisply. I am very pleased with the outcome.

how is it over rough roads and potholes.... any clearance issues?

So how did the installation go? Any lessons learned for those of us on the fence?

Also I know you mentioned the ride is not that much harder but is it like that on all road surfaces?

thinking about making this my summer project....but I have a C4S so and I've read it's more difficult.

The only thing different is the C4S gets the X73 kit. Installation process is the same for a C4 and a C4S. The S has the wider *** and more weight hence the X73 kit. It is made for the extra weight. This is also the kit for a Turbo.
