Dell, what color of red is that - it almost looks like a burgundy. I don't know if it is just the photo or lighting - very pretty color and GREAT car Keep the photos coming (when it warms up ).

Duh, Arena Red! But, I thought Arena Red was a much brighter red?!

Beautiful car and at a fair price. Vegas and NC car so it has never seen snow/salt. GLWTS! That aero bumper costs over $2K nowadays.

It's actually a really cool color called Arena Red. We narrowed our choices to laips blue and arena red and this one won. THe story about the color is actually pretty cool. It's supposed to resemble the color of blood spilled by gladiators fighting in the arena. Pretty cool, huh?

The nice thing about Dell's cab is that it comes with everything including the hardtop plus the fluid maintenance interval is twice the frequency of factory recommended.

I think I am going to brave the cold weather (low 50s) and get her off the lift and wash and take a bunch of pics.

+1. Dell is great contributor to the forum and the car will certainly be a top quality car.

Arena Red changes depending on the light, both in hue and darkness. I will PM you pics of my car in different lighting conditions.

WHY could you not have this for sale in 6 mos!!! All I need to do is sell my house (going on 6 mos now) and buy a 3rd stall and I'd be all over this!

Arena Red is THE best color ever.

Alright, so my wife has slept on it and starting to second guess herself especially since she just drove it to the grocery store and back just to make sure she was ok with selling it. Upon her return, she started to get very sad at the thought of selling her.

The replacement for this car was going to be a 2011 BMW hardtop cab. Having only put about 800 miles in it in the last year she is going to drive it exclusively this week (~200 miles) and make a firm decision at the end of the week. As of right now, it looks like it's probably going to stay put. It's a known quantity that is spot on reliable and robust. We know the history. We have been meticulous about it. And best of all, it's paid for.

Dell, I know exactly what you mean. The family CFO has approved the purchase of a different (or another) sports car and while I'd really like to get a 996TT or 997C4S, I really can't bear to part with my 996C4. It's paid for, it's got a solid reman engine, and I know the car. I don't want to dump a good car only to get stuck with something unknown.

Good luck with whatever you decide...you're right about that Arena Red--it's a beautiful color!
