Obviously Obama is in bed with the oil companies.

$4.139/gallon at Livermore CA Shell station the other day. And both cars are low on fuel. In fact Boxster's low fuel light came on on way to work this AM and Turbo's will almost certainly come on in around 20 miles of driving.

Sincerely,

Macster.

Im hoping these prices or higher push down SUV prices. I'm in the market for a Denali xl or an escalade esv. In 08 prices on these big boys plunged. I'm hoping for a repeat.

Having 2 V8s is not fun everytime I go to the pump. Good thing that the commute is short so 1 tank will last about 1 week for me and about 1 1/2 week for the wife (her commute is 6 miles / day both ways)

Macster, you have said a lot of bright things in your posts. This one is off the charts. Our gas prices are high because Obama has called the oil companies and told them that it's OK to raise their prices? Gimme a break!

More irrelevant anti-Obama rants.

Who even looks at gas prices anymore? I just cover my eyes and pump away... Then press "NO" when it asks for a reciept..

I think perhaps Macster's point is that the last time this happened, Bush was president and the Democrats screamed that it was Bush's fault because he "was in bed with the oil companies", now that it's happening on Obama's watch of course it's ridiculous to think such a thing.
