Default Where does this hose go

In my picture, the hose where I attempted to draw the red line. Should it go to the slot where I attempted to draw a circle around?

I took my air filter out to clean the engine bay a bit, from the dust etc. Then I couldn't figure out where it's supposed to go.

yes, it goes in the clip that holds it out of the way of the belt. the other ends goes to nothing, it's a vent/overflow if it's a small 1/4" looking hose..

Hose A is shorter than Hose B, and has a limp when he walks.

Wait he's in NZ he's not going to get it.

Thanks for asking that question - I had the same issue... but then assumed it was a vent. I did find in other photos that it appeared to be clipped down on the A/C hose and I found that in fact there was a small bracket in the metal part of the hose with a nipple that the vent hose slipped easily on to. Not seeing any other reason for that bracket I slipped it on and forgot about it till I read this post.
It is odd today to think of the Pentosin being open to the environment above rubber belts, as I have been told that stuff is not friendly to some type of materials. ???

That's why you need replace polyrib every 60,000 miles (?) as it's being dripped on from above for all those miles.
