I saw that same exact ad about 6 months ago, maybe longer.

I can't imagine buying a car that I didn't drive first.

A true Porsche enthusiast that understands what another true enthusiast wants, and needs when car shopping.

Too bad there aren't more like him out there. All I seem to get are cluless owners and lying salesmen!

Honestly, I'm not seeing what you guys are seeing. It looks like any number of other garage queen 997s with ads that seemingly read "I refused to enjoy this car one bit the whole time I've had it." It's a well-done auction listing, but that and a clean car alone won't pry $56k out of my wallet.

Anyway, the word "enthusiast" isn't the first that comes to mind for me...more like "****-retentive". You expect me to pay top dollar for a six-year-old sports car that you won't even allow me to test drive? Pass...

There are lots of these cars available out there, guys. My 911 might not be as shiny as that guy's is, but I'll gladly toss the keys to anyone that I think will appreciate what I've got.

Is your 996 rusty?

JK;-)

What's the story behind your avatar?

Reading that your 911 might not be as shiny as that guys, and seeing your avatar brings up all kinds of interesting thoughts, lol.

I'm just looking for a pristine, beautiful, no excuses, very well cared for car. Seems like everyone selling one, states, "yea it has 45k miles, but looks like 15k" Then $275 later the PPI report states, "Interior needs serious and thorough detail, looks like it has never been cleaned"

My daily beater '99 Jeep that has never seen the inside of a garage, is actually in better condition than the last 2 '05 Turbo S cabs I have looked at.

I think its well priced. I did not see the entire option list on the car but assuming it has it all its within the price range. I am starting to see a few S's in the High $40ks range with double the miles.

Nice car though. Wish I was in the market

Tooloud10 for president !!!!

Love the honesty. Must be depending on persons with a buy on ebay syndrone or something. Evidently he can't sell it locally.
