Default 996.1 vs. 996.2 suspension

Are they interchangeable for a C2?

Thanks. Thinking of a gently used set of springs. Curious to why the RoW M030 has aversion for the 996.1 and the 996.2.

The 996.1 had two basic chassis the C2 & C4... then the 996.2 used the C4 chassis on all models for improved strength. The reason you see a M030 for both is they made the 996.2 springs a little bit stiffer. That will not effect your usage at all. The mounting points and everything else is the same.
