Default 968 to 996

Hi all,

Brief introduction. Tomorrow I'll pick up my 996 C2. I trade in my good old 968 after some years of fun. The years with the 968 I used to figur out what to get next ....an 964/993 or newer, the 996. The perfection in handling, drivebility, options got the overhand.

Pics I'll post later!

Danny, Netherlands.

And the sound! Most Porsche fanatics know the 968 drives very nice, but the d*mn sounds isn't agressive enough.

Nice cars btw

loud? maybe it has by-pass pipes? easy to check, look at them... if they come from the cat and turn out the back without going into the fender wells.....

in that case:

edit: we know how to make that new car sound even better

They still come from the fender wells. There is an company closeby (belgium) who nearly empty out the mufflers. That might be done. Coming weekend I have an close inspection and also make proper pictures.
