Ben Choi insulted lot's of people and was banned from everywhere. I thought he was funny though. I bet he still lurks here.

Apparently he is studying economics at Harvard. I guess his honors thesis will be on the "the economics of scamming car forums around the world"
Now that is remarkable (puke) guy. Intern at Microsoft when he was 12. That is Idiot Savant status.

Should be... as in tight-asses.

WHOA!!!! Did I just open the door to have this thread banished to the Political and Controversy section!!!!!

Well, we did have some mild controversy going on here, at least for a little while. Hell, we are up to 50+ posts on this thing already! And some folks admitted guilt to two threads and I didn't even mention which threads I was referring to originally, but you knew who you were! LOL!!! Some very guilty conscience's seeking redemtion. LOL!

I'm all for hazing and roasting the newbies - within limits. That's all I wanted to say. Give them a chance to build a little callous before we rub them the wrong way. The rest of us are up to the challenge when we take flak here.

I was the first to respond to the seat issue with "Is this Andre the giant?". I will stand by that comment....just sorry it went way South after that. Guilty conscience ? Nope. Human yep. But if the OP can't take a joke than well.....you know the line.

Ed's OK with a wrench... you just can't leave him alone with a credit card and the internet.

It's funny, I was going to post some rude comment in that I'm-too-sexy-for-my-seat thread about being squished up against the windshield in early 911s... but I got distracted - maybe I had to do real work - so I didn't post anything. I'm usually late to the party.

Not saying everyone on here is old but you get my drift. If you drive a Porsche then chances are you did something right in life or your mature enough to figure out a way to own one. The local car forum I'm on is full of kids whos parents gave them things and they have no respect for others.

Well I'm a noob here and just wanted to say hello and reintroduce myself. I've been a member before but that account no longer exists. I bought my C4S back in 2006. Great info here as I've referenced this site for info in the past.

Tech_C4S,

Welcome (back) to Rennlist. Tradition requests that you start a new thread in the 996 Forum with your hello. Folks will then give you a little bit of razzing until you post pictures of your car. It is a rite of passage. We are all very happy you are joining us, and this truely is a great place to hang out. And we are all ***** for pictures of 996's, so don't disappoint us. LOL!
