Well the drive was GREAT!!!!! Need cheaper fuel...man the car burns alot of fuel at 5600 RPMs. Oh well, the Saleen got 9-12 mpg when the fun pedal was pushed.

I have empirical evidence, and lots of it, that spirited driving alone will not keep the goop away.

I run my car long and hard every day and I still get the goop in my filler tube, but only when I use cheap oil like Mobil 1. I switched to Motul and the goop only shows up occasionally now.

Yes, wet weather has something to do with it.

as Jasper says (and I didnt want to start an oil debate) but I switched oils and mine completely went away too - I mean dusty dry !
