There are small holes at the bottom edge of the lid in the corners that appear to be where water will normally run out. I think I'm going to try a can of compressed air for blowing off computers and such to see if it dislodges anything so that it drains nicely. The thin red straw for directing the air might be helpful when blasting air in there by sticking up in thee in different angles.
