Goodbye 996 C4S, Hello 997 GT3

Well, everyone, I want to thank you all for a great year on the 996 forum. I have learned a tremendous amount about Porsches and more specifically, 996's. It has been a fun ride!

Today, I made the jump to a 2010 GT3. Wanting to maintain my member in good standing, I am attaching photos. Also, I will be dropping by from time to time. Hopefully, you guys won't mind a 997 interloper!

Wow that was quick! And I thought I was impatient. Gorgeous car, and congrats!

Any first impressions on the differences from a fellow C4S owner?

Honestly, the difference is night and day. The GT3 is a much more visceral beast which requires a lot more attention. If you are, however, looking for a car that responds immediately and precisely to drive input, there ain't anything out there like it! I highly recommend the experience

when I opened this I was going to make some smart a$$ comment about non-996 owners posting on the 996 forum, then I saw that ugly red car and tried as hard as I could to muster up some slack jawed remark - but F$%K ME!! that thing is sick !!
