I've sent my mufflers out to Fister and i need to put Stabil in the 911. Is there a problem with running it for a few minutes to get the Stabil through the fuel lines, with no mufflers? There must be a computer sensor somewwhere that Im screwing up!

My track car runs with out them all the time with out issue. you may get a check engine light but that should clear after reinstalling and disconect and reconect the battery

 

haha... running without them is almost exactly like running by-pass pipes.... people do it all day long.

watch heat if you run too long can be an issue for the painter bumper

 

My opinion is thats its fine for a quick bit.... But too long and you will be sucking the hot exhaust in the motor which isnt the best thing.

 

just dont sit in the car when its idling..... you might pass out.
