Question....
Can I take the vents/bezel/cup holder out of a 2002-04 996 and put them into my '00 996?
I simply NEED a cup holder. I don't want to have to sell my 2000, just to buy a 2002.

I don't think you can do it. I believe cup holders were available in the 2001 model that pop out like little drawers - maybe you could retrofit some of those.

FWIW - the OEM cup holders in the MK II cars are worthless. They will hold a small Starbucks coffee or a 12 oz can. They don't hold it especially securely. Forget about a bottled water - it won't fit. If you manage to find a skinny bottle that will fit, then it will fall over every time you go around a curve.
