Keep it. I'm putting a new bumper on my C4S because somebody hit me in a parking lot. I seriously considered a GT2 bumper. I like the look.

keep the bumper and put a wing on the car... Who cares what others think! It is your car and you have to look at it everyday.

The problem is, its not a wide body car. Thats why the exotic front looks out of place. I would sell it and get a turbo nose. Thats why porsche made the 40th aniversery 911 with the narrow body and turbo nose. Better yet, somebody will trade their turbo nose for a GT2 nose. So you wont have to buy anything Maybe even get a few bucks to boot.

this is a NB car.... I think it looks sweet... it all depends on how you package it and how you want it to roll.

OK - think back, what made you like this car over the other 996's you saw.... the bumper was differant (I am guessing)

so keep it

I would guess OEM GT2 stuff is not too hard to get rid of, I dont know... you might do OK with a nose. Wings are hot tickets - Stock exhaust.... those things are smoken in the resale market

some reason I have a belly ache now....

as for your car, seriously its not bad, too big in many people's eye, but 'F' em, its your car

Do you know what what was on the car originally - look at the codes under the hood.

Anything looks good at speed even more so if it helps at speed.

YES... it will look a lot better once you install MKII side skirts.... they have more of an edge and will line up better with the edge on the bumper... without the MKII side skirts it looks "unbalanced".... install those and if you still don't like it go back to the MKII front bumper and it will still look good with the new side skirts... but I think the side skirts will complete the package....

I'm thinking of updating the wheels, maybe turbo twists or some sort of mesh wheels.

So I guess my question is, what should I do next?

Get a wing or spoiler?

Wheels?

Change the nose?

I'm looking for opinions.

Thanks
I'm not one that usually likes wings, but with that front end, it may be needed to visually balance out the look. If you are going to go "loud" go all the way like Fly 996. If that's not your style, then go with a less aggressive nose.

Alternatively, I would consider going with 19" rims. The larger rims may help tie in the overall look of the car to the current nose.

If you are able to stay out of the potholes maybe try new suspension parts. I have a heck of a time with parking lot curbing some days.....I hate concrete. Anyway the front end does look nice but I'm not sure if the car has the power to push it at higher speeds. I just thing it looks like it would catch more air then a stock front end. I know a GT2 does have power to push any front end Blunt surfaces do eat some big horsepower and top end at speed. Could altogether be better to go with a different front but I'm not sure on the stats.

Thanks for all of the opinions, I really like the nose. Maybe getting the correct side skirts would be a better bet. The MKI side skirts look a little wimpy.

But whixh side skirts would do the trick.

Redridge, what are the side skirts in the pictrure of the NB car you showed me?

Are they MKII or something else?
