Thanks for the endorsement Ed. It's even cleaner now than when you saw it at Chris's as I've done a number of things to bring the exterior and interior up to a like-new condition.

Love the gray gauges....never saw those before.

Like you, I also was a previous 82 SC owner - and now own a 2000 metallic black 996 tip. (Wish I had your updated wheels, though....very nice.)

If you do a decoder check with your VIN number you'll be able to find the correct color, btw.

For sure. This is just a temporary set-back or regrouping to prepare for the purchase of an even better 911 in my future.

There sure is a great group of guys here, so I plan to come back.

There's always something better. As 996's go though, mine is tough to beat in the way of condition, both mechanically and aesthetically. Is that better?
