You can rent one for $25 - or if you are a medium and know someone who just bought a new one () borrow one for the day

spectating is free and if you come late in the day I might be able to get you a trip around the open coarse....

I know about the money whoes, got me a new fuel pump Friday to the tune of nearly 3 bones!

Hi, I'm a fairly new member here as well. I would love to come to the next PNW meet as well. Do you have to be a PCA member to attend?

Sorry to thread jack.

okay, back on topic... I also have the airbag light on. I had it reset a couple times but eventually it comes back on. I would like this airbag code read/reset as well to get to the bottom of this.

I am not 100% sure,

check out PNWR.org under the "at the track" tab, skills day... at the bottom is an email link, contact them and see what they say, I can offer an invite but not sure how to do it, I think beer is somehow involved

classes fill up fast normally so take a loot and see what happens - IIRC there are membership open dates and non-member dates which means non-members can go but have to wait a few days to give members first shot

let me know if you need help, I can always get answers quick (I am on the hot (read irratating guy) line )

No worries about jacking this thread!

Welcome to RL, Basalt and Ultraman.

@ Basalt, glad to hear you had a 240z too, I love mine and just can't get rid of it.. Thought it's now residing in Cali, I just can't bare to keep it up here out in the rainy/wet elements.. I keep it down there for track days..

@ Ultraman, regarding the airbag light, check out the Renntech forums. I think Ed mentioned it earlier in the thread too, some recommended cleaning of the contact points under the seat to dramatically decrease the airbag fault occurrence.

Went to one skills day with my better half a couple of years ago in the 993. We had a blast. Best money I've ever spent. I can't make the 8th session without doing my AOS and a LN Engineering upgrade. New car to me and I know how hard a day at a skill session can be on an un-prepped car! I may try to volunteer to be part of the fun and risk my life replacing cones.

Incidentally, I bought Dennis W's car- a black c4 cab with a bunch o' miles for a very decent price. Anyone familiar with it? I guess he was really active in the 996 crowd...

Ivangene, that beer will have to wait a bit until after the holidays- too many family responsibilities. Maybe we can get a group together.
