The biggest problem I've encountered with my 7-year-old in the rear seat is, uh...vomiting. I think it's a combination of a claustrophobic seating position, the vibration of the engine right behind her, and dad's driving. It's happened three times now. I just shrug it off...whaddrya gonna do?

The other day, I spent the entire day with two of my grandkids. The pleasures of having them close, and being unemployed. So, this was the first time that I had a chance to put both of them in the back seat. This just seemed like a good reason to flaunt my good looking grandkids to the Porsche crowd. I also snapped a pic of the nylon seatback protector. Works very well.

Larry - not to be some sort of safety police - but the kids shouldn't be in puffy coats while strapped in the seat. Some videos:

My kids love riding in the back! Nothing quite like the smile on the 2 year old's face during exceleration

The seats I found didnt fit as snuggly as i wanted but after removing the lower seat pad and some creative work a few tightly rolled black towels i was able to strap each seat down firmly with no slop.

I am picking up my first P-car this weekend (assuming it passes the PPI). Eitherway, its time to buy a car seat.

It seems the Recaro PROBooster is a good option for a 996 cab for a 5 year old. Can anyone confirm this or add updated information on what booster seat they recommend on a cab ?

Thanks!

ProBooster is definitely THE seat to get. Check out post #220 of THIS thread.

I run the ProBooster in both my Turbo and my CAB

With the amount of $$$ Amazon gets from me and my friends it would be nice

The thing about the ProBooster is it actually fits in there like it was actually designed with the car! It is that good.

Hah; become an amazon affiliate member and provide links to it. Ive read nearly all of your posts (searching for booster seat ---> you pop up a LOT).

I wont buy the 2nd car seat yet for my 2.5 year old ... primarily because if I need to drive both kids I will probably be taking the X5 versus the p-car. Of course, if I have as much fun driving the p-car as I hope; I maybe be ordering another car seat next week ....
