Drive shaft removal
I need to disconnect the drive shafts from the transmission (2 wheel drive) to remove the tranny and replace the clutch. My question is what size tool is needed for the drive shaft bolts? I searched and found instructions but none seem to mention the size of the bolt head. The tool I had for my 944t doesn't fit.

I forget the exact size, it may be an 8mm, but it is a hex head/allen wrench driver. One trick to make it easier to get at them and get them out is to remove the rear wheels and use a 24" extension to reach them through the wheel wells, much easier than working from underneath and working around the driveshafts.
