2011 Mods.....
Ok 2010 was the year to shake the bugs out of the car and bring it into shape. Spent about $4K in tires and R&M. In the spring I'm planning on IMS, RMS and possibility clutch if needed.
That being the end of the R&M I hope to work on some upgrades.
I'm open to advice but I'm leaning toward updating the suspension. The car is 11 years old and has original equipment. I'm guessing after 11 years I would notice new springs and struts. I'm also leaning toward the ROW 030.
I have not done any track days with the car, but would like to next year but i expect the car to be mostly a street car.

Dave,
I just recently did the M030 RoW conversion and couldn't be happier. Yes, after all these years, it is totally amazing how bad the shock/struts get and us not notice. Wow! I do ocassional track events but have not been since the suspension work was done. But the difference on the road is astounding. Lots of folks will tell you to do the X51 or maybe the PSS9 conversions. I don't know about those. Yes they work. Yes those are better suited to frequent track users (IMHO).

FWIW, my next "mod" is the RMS/IMS/clutch preventative maintenance, hopefully in the next 6 months.
Better to pay small up front, than pay big on the backside. I also believe in Murphy's Law - Left unattended, my IMS will fail within clear hearing distance of banjo music...

I've put pss10's on my targa and track her as much as possible and all I can say is get rid of the stock shocks asap. I did it progressively to notice the difference. I added camber for one event then the shocks for another and while camber helped with the wear on the tires evenly the pss10's set to only 5 for stiffness were the biggest bang for the buck. it's just fantastic now.

replaced my stock suspension with PSS9s. incredible difference. so much better it is a different car.
I use it as a DD and 6-10 track days per year.

What is your feelings on radio's. How many have changed from the Stock radio? Mine has a cassette deck. Thats so 1990's!
$700 for a stock porsche radio with a cd seem expensive when I can get a killer radio for the same price.
Advise please.....

I've already got the short shift and exhaust on mine. Next up for me is the RoW M030 suspension with RS Engine Mounts and I've already got the 2DIN installation kit for the Kenwood DNX6960 that will be feeding the factory Bose. After that, I think it's done for a good period of time. From everything I have read (and coupled with what I think the car should be like) these are the best mods for the $. JMHO
