Sorry if the editing is a little jumpy - I had to trim out anything that wasn't important to get it to fit the YouTube 10 minute limit.

I did not see the video link or clip attached

Great vid Van! Next time can you do a DIY at a Strip Joint? I'll send you a few singles for stocking stuffers....

FYI, if anyone is interested, Purolator Porsche oil filter is made in Germany, not China. I have been using this filter for a couple of years. It looks just like the original Porsche filter with the same markings. Very easy to get at my parts, and runs about $10.

Sorry... it shows up in your quote. Try a YouTube search. I bet you'll find it.
I spent about an hour on it. I let it drain for 30 minutes or so - that's when I drank the beer.

A lot of miles on that oil - about 8,000.

Glad you guys like it!

I think I'll change the spark plugs some time this winter - they've been in for 35k miles. If/when I do, I'll make a video about that, too.
Will be waiting for this vid.... I need to do mine and Ive never done one yet.... Looks easy though

Thanks for making this video! After my disheartening call to the dealer to get a quote for an oil change yesterday, I decided I was going to do it myself. Having a lift would probably make this easier, but I'll probably just park her rear over my driveway and hope for the best, lol.

Hey Van-

I just bought my first Porsche, an '02 Carrera Coupe, and plan to do the oil changes myself. Your video is a huge help. Thanks for putting the time into making and posting it. Most appreciated.

-Mawgie

p.s. If you are ever in greater Syracuse, and are interested, I'd like to buy you a microbrew and talk some Porsche. I am a regular at the Blue Tusk in Armory Square.
