For the money these cars cost...you think those engineers could design a car with a stronger rear axle! When standing behind my car looking at the rear tires...the axle is bent!! the tires are tilted!!! I saw an overloaded lawn service trailer going down the road and its tires were tilted/axle bent too...looked just like my p car!! do you think the p car engine is too heavy causing the axle to bend? It just looks embarassing!!

The main problem I have been having is that the tires smoke excessively.

Why nobody has mentioned a common problem(issue) that all of us as 996 Porsche owners have, is the unbelievable, no, the horrendous(magnificant) smell coming from the rear of our Porsches, every time we drive them hard. Something in quality control/Engineering at Porsche must be done to rectify this.

I know you guys have the oil smear on your window. When you put the window all the way down and back up.... I wipe it clean, bring the window down..... and there goes that oil smear again. It's like the perpetual oil that never runs out..... Maybe the oil is coming from a sealed bearing of some sort. German engineering.

My car’s rear is very wide and obese with a huge red tanline going across... That's why I try to park it at the very back of the parking lot to save the embarrassment... And sometimes at excess speeds of 120Km, it get's erect all of a sudden. Really not sure if it's a boy or a girl yet.. No manners I tell ya!

Not only did they use cows for my seats but they used wood for my center console, dash, steering wheel and door handles! To top it all off they used some type of felt for my headliner!!! Next thing you know some one is going to tell me my headlights leak.

Umm, yeah... I didn't really want to bring that up in potentially mixed company. Mine, er, ah, also seems to "get excited" almost every time I take it out. Pretty sure mines a boy.

My car must have a BMW shrink ray in each mirror. The other day a 335i shrunk from a full size vehicle to a very small dot in them. I was worried until I stopped for a red light and realized the effect is mostly temporary with the discouraged look on the BMW driver's face being the only visable after effect.

My car got wet yesterday - surprisingly it didn't break, or dissolve, or rust.. no engine failure at all.

I'm holding my breath because everyone knows that an IMS failure happens immediately after gthese cars get wet.
