Default Oil sender Q

Do our cars have electronic oil sending units? I'm hoping so cause my "Oil Failure" message came on and my pressure gauge dropped down for a few seconds, then the message went away and the gauge resumed normal reading. I'm thinking the sender may have farted for a sec and came back.

Thanks!

Not an uncommon issue, the senders are rather finicky on these cars. Check the connections first, if you need the sender, it's cheap and relatively easy to replace.

Thanks Ahmet! I found one for $70 at Pelican. Just relieved to know it's not mechanical with an oil line to the gauge indicating an actual oil pressure problem

I appreciate that Doug! Thanks! I actually went to my house today, I live with my girl at her place, to dowload the SM to my thumb drive

Thanks again!
