Default Engine stalls at high speed

This has been happening for years. I have a 01 996 C2 Tip. It use to just happen on the track with less then 1/2 tank of gas. Car would stall for 1-2 seconds then start running again. It's just like the ignition was turned off and back on. I now always track the car with at least 1/2 tank of gas. I replaced the fuel filter last month and everything has been fine. I was at the track last weekend, no stalling, then on the way home with over 1/2 tank of gas, I was stalling every 30 seconds for 2-3 seconds then the car would start running again. It's just like the ignition was turned off, wait 2-3 seconds and then turn it back on. I filled up the tank and no problems.

Could there be any problems with fuel pump lines. I know there are all type of lines coming and going from the fuel pump and maybe some have broken free and with less then a full tank of gas they are getting some type of vapor lock. Thanks for your help.

sounds like a loose connection somewhere..... is it intermittent or you can reproduce consistently?

Check the alternator wires on the back. I heard some strange symptoms from one of the wires doing intermitent faults. I'd think its just for charging but evidently its also read for other computing. Darn computers. Got a durametric or anything?

Do the dash guages all die electrically when this happens ? Does everything go dark if driving at night ?
Or does it just stall like it ran out of fuel ?

First thing to try is a fuel injector / fuel line cleaner.

I thought I read somewhere this is related to a fuel line issue inside the fuel tank.
