Default C4S versus Turbo Maintenance Costs

Does anyone have a take on buying a turbo over a C4s in terms of maintenance costs?

I am very close to buying a C4S but a turbo came up for $4,000 MORE! Its the same year and within mileage very close!

turbo = cost more... everytime they do anything the turbo "stuff" is in the way and has to be moved, plus more parts, wait... make that more expensive parts to wear out... IMO a C4 is higher than a C2 on a few items, but a turbo is higher on many items (maintenance items)

Dells absolutely right! If the OP can get a Turbo for a small amount more than a C4S with other items being equal, go with the TT!!!

Akfalar you lucky dog... I'd get the turbo if I were you.
Probably higher resale value if you decide to update a few years down the road.

Corrected for you. No way is a 996 Carrera going to hold value better than a 996 Turbo in any scenario all things being equal.

I saw that same math when I was shopping, but the turbos that were only a few $k more than nice C4Ss were really ratty. Of course they were $10k more than ratty C4Ss...

Anyway, if you found a good TT for under $40k, you hit the jackpot!

It depends on what you really want from the car. It will be easier to make a decision after you have had a chance to drive each model. You will probably find the Turbo very additive. At least, that was my experience.
