Here's a picture from the dealer (it's been picked up by the auto transporter today and is on its way to Canada now- yay!) What exactly is that little **** right below the third brake light above the spoiler?? I haven't been able to find out anything about it. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be there, just not sure what it does.

 

Is it for the Nav?

 

Ah - it must be. It has an aftermarket double-din headunit with Nav in it, so that must be what it is.

Looks 1) Oddly mounted and 2) reminds me of my portable XM antenna. Could be held on with just a strong magnet. Certainly looks like its NAV related.

 

I'm pretty sure it's the nav antenna, and that it is held on magnetically, as it has changed position in other pictures I've seen of the car.

BTW, I was actually pretty happy to find out that my car had an aftermarket stereo, nav, and amp, as I understand that Porsche's stereos are generally not great. My car once had a CDR23, but it now has an AVIC Z3 with GPS, bluetooth, etc. - I'd call this a good upgrade.

You must have the manual spoiler. It's a rare, lightweight RS option. If you're going to be driving over 70, pull over and turn it until the spoiler raises.

 

Looks a lot like the rare tape wrapped mobile clay bar option. Isn't that part of the tape covered Carrera 4S emblem package??

it must be where you put in "JetDry" often they come empty so make sure to fill it up.... keeps spots from forming

 

what ever it is , it shouldnt be there. just like the clear wrap.

 

Put it inside the car, Its a Gps antenna it will still work fine + it wont look horrible like it does now.

 

That is the optional IMS magnet that holds the ball bearings in the bearing- DO NOT REMOVE.

 

Nah must be the DIY for adding a volume control for the exhaust. It does look like a gps antenna.
