Default Shop in Central NJ?

All,
Anyone know of a decent repair shop around Rumson/Red Bank? Just looking for someone to change the oil this weekend (I know that may be tough, given the holiday), and I don't want to take the car to the Kwik Lube. Any ideas?

Thanks

Its been my experience that most Porsche independent shops aren't open on weekends. They tend to be out racing Some have saturday hours, but more for pick ups than actual mechanic work.

That said, Bodymotion is in Ocean TWP. http://www.bodymotion.com/

Thanks very much. Due to an unforeseen increase in weekend plans (yes, I am married), I had to take the car to Manhattan Motorcars for the oil. $425 later, I now have new oil. So...yeah.

mjdavis,
Learn to change your oil. One crush washer for the drain plug one filter + 9qts of oil= $425?
Set yourself up with a low profile 12-15 qt drain pan and a 5 gallon gas/kerosene can to carry your used oil to a shop/reclaim center. You will save $300 on your first change.

That does not sound right. I got a quote from a dealer of about $260. My indy did it for $140 including a thorough check of the car. He even hooked up the computer to the car to make sure it did not trigger any codes.

"My indy did it for $140 including a thorough check of the car."

If you don't mind, who's your Indy?

Thanks.

Well, Seth @ DA was always fair to be sure.
If anyone was a fan of Seth and the Dealer Alternative please take a look at this, he has been a good friend of mine for many, many years
and recently was in a terrible accident.

OK... Im late.... but $425!!!, plus tolls and going over the bridge.

PM me next time, we'll have a tech session....

honestly, an oil change can be put off another couple of days as long as it is topped off.... no such thing as an emergency oil change.
