Ebay Bypass Pipes

I think you could get them to fit up a little better but this whole thread is
"I've been driving around for a week without mufflers"
"I basically bought them for the looks"
"They arent that loud. ( I used to work around jet engines all day, a flat six motor is nothing)"
WHAT ???

I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to cars, etc.. That is why i do most maintenance myself. I was hanging over the tech's shoulder while he whipped out a oxyacetylene torch under the car and about 6 inches from my bumper and coolant lines. He actually wanted to spray paint the welds with the pipes on the car, I told him, " I dont think so buddy, your going to do that after you take the pipes back off on the other side of your garage." Overall, I'd give the job a "C" because if you look close enough the drivers side tip sticks out a little bit compared to the passenger side. Plus the weld is a bit sloppy, in my opinion. OH WELL...

You get what you pay for. My Fabspeeds fit and look factory. They aren't for everyone, that's for sure. Long trips can be a bit harsh. I'll try and get pics to compare factory vs Fabspeed...

Now, I trust that y'all will tell me if this is a dumb question, but assuming that everything is sized and bent properly, why would a guy spend hundreds of dollars more for the Fabspeed pipes? What could the difference possibly be?

Make sure you take out both pieces of the old muffler pipe. If you only take off one piece, the bypass pipes will be too long by about 3 inches. Then you'll go and have them cut/rewelded, and then figure out that there was another part of the pipe that had to come off...ask me how I know
