MAF backwards?
I just cleaned my MAF and was wondering if I put it in back wards when I put the engine back together 2 weeks ago.
Does the little paper clip looking thing with the transistor go toward the air filter?

The air box should prevent you from installing it backwards. The screw holes are offset.

If you could install it backwards, which, as Doug said, you can't, I guess it would become a FAM.

Towards the filter, and if you managed to get it in backwards, the car should run like cr@p.

Unless it's in Florida the land of sunshine. In Florida either way its a MAF a lot better off than anywhere else. Well except for Hawaii.....until the island sinks flaming volcanoes and all.
