Have you tried RennSport in Katy or Protechnics in Sugarland , eurocarwerk, all in Houston. I've used all apart from Rennsport

called protechics, but they dont rebuild watercooled. rennsport told me that they have never rebuilt or repaired a cracked head on a water cooled 996 but feel that they can do it... : ) I'm sure they are knowledgeable but i need some one who has done this before. I haven't tried eurocarwerk so i'll give them a call tomorrow,

Thats very interesting about Protechnic since they offered to rebuild my engine if it wasn't as catastrophic as it was. They said they had all the tools and had just completed one. I smell a skunk in the works... good to know.
