Question Any special tool to remove dashboard switches?

I was wondering if there is any special tool to remove those stubborn switches that are in the "horse-shoe" area? To get them in, it was easy, they snapped right in, but to try to take them out, they won't budge and I am afraid to break them with too much force. Any special tricks, love to hear them? Thanks,

Use a small flat screwdriver to on the long side of the switch and they should pop right out.

Here's what you need.

Remove the horseshoe and from behind you remove the switch. They just snap in at an angle.

I used plastic trim tools - cost around $2 for a set of 8 or so at a local hardware store.

Thanks guys, I think I will try to find the plastic trim tools that could be useful for other interior trims... I did try with a small screw-driver but maybe I did not use enough force, will try again tomorrow. Thanks,
