All this being said 4S's are going for mid thirties.... this one falls in that category in my opinion. If the car was mint and had lower miles maybe it would be worth high thirties but 41? cmon man......... Jeff keep looking dood. You will find the right one soon.

At the very least, $41K is C4S CPO money. The CPO cars have to be in very good to excellent overall condition and the tires have to have 70%-80% tread left on them (make sure you check the manufacture date of the tire because this may not be included in a CPO check).

Or check this out if you want blue. Almost the same price as the one you were looking at AND it is a CPO car.

Thanks guys. I was in the process of moving, so I was out of the loop for a bit, but I'm mostly settled in now. Anyways, yeah I'm gonna keep looking and also see if the car is still there in a couple months. If so, maybe they'll be more willing to deal. I wholeheartedly agree it was just overpriced.

I agree with the advice to keep looking. I was able to find an '03 C4S with ~20K miles for a couple of thousand less from a Porsche dealer. PPI returned no issues whatsoever.

Your car is out there. Good luck!

That seems to be a private auction site? I can't seem to get in. So, their starting price is $39.5k? Or has someone bid that high already?

Good to know. If they don't sell it there, then I know I can get a better deal from them. Or perhaps if someone here has connections there is some chance I could place a bid through them?

Thanks for the info Tim!

Thanks man! I appreciate it.

By the way, white is one of my favorite colors for P-cars as well. Your car looks sharp!

I personally would wonder why the plastic on the airbag looks so much newer than the rest of the steering wheel - was the original deployed (accident)?

That was my original thought as well, but according to our fellow Rennlister who looked at the car in person for me, it didn't look different. Probably a trick of the flash on the camera. There was absolutely no other sign of accident, so I think it's likely alright. Actually, if you look at the Porsche crest on the wheel in the close-up, it is damaged, so I don't think it's newer than the rest of the interior. Thanks for the concern though!

The airbag cover is made out of a different material compared to the leather steering wheel if the steering wheel did not come with a full leather option.
