Default Blue 996 C4S

Hey guys,

I think I may have found the car for me! It seems to have all the options I want and is definitely the color I want inside and out. I have a question though. The steering wheel seems to have two shades to it. The center is a little darker than the handle part (see link). Is this normal or possibly due to sun damage/hand sweat or is this a sign of a possible airbag deployment?

Thanks in advance!
Jeff

normal... take a closer look, the wheel is leather and the airbag may be plastic.

I have the same contrast in color as well. You won't notice it after a few miles.

Also a lot of people put armorall on the center since it is vinyl, but not on the wheel.. for obvious reasons... it looks to me like thats what is going on there.. emphasized by the camera. :-)

Oh, that's nice inside and out. How much are they asking? I can't get that link to get me to the listing.

Hey guys, thanks for the posts on the wheel, and yeah, she sure is pretty! I just ordered a PPI on it via Champion Porsche and that is going through tomorrow morning. We'll see how it turns out!

Is there anyone in the Pompano Beach, FL area that would be kind enough to take a peek at her for me? I would really appreciate it because I don't think I'll be able to make it over there necessarily as I am booked solid for the next month. I think if this PPI goes thorough, I will pull the trigger!

I'm hoping to talk them down in price a little though. What do you all think is a fair price? Sorry for all the questions, it's just that this is not exactly a small purchase for me, so I'm a little nervous, haha.

On Autotrader the same car is selling for $41,900 so they have some room.

That is very good to know. I will take it to heart. Very serious stuff that is...

***alright, I can't keep a straight face typing this anymore***

Hahahaaha! You, sir, make me feel so much better about this car, and P-cars in general. Thanks for the laugh!

Thanks Fred! I saw that price on ebay (where I initially found it), but I'm hoping to get them to go for $40k or below. Is this reasonable? I was really hoping to pay around $35-$37, but this is exactly the car I've been looking for, option for option, so I'm willing to pay a little more if necessary.
