Those seats are different.
My entire interior in Metropol blue. Just order a set of Lloyds mats from Suncoast in grey (they were on closeout for $70).
Then I'm gonna pick up the rear console in satin silver from bumper plugs.
I feel my interior looks like Darth vaders bathroom, only in blue.
Gotta break up the color.....

I picked my 03 C2 up this Spring with just under 40,000 miles for 28.5k Car had just had new plugs, new clutch, fresh oil, and a very clean bill of health. On the flip side the paint is far from perfect, and I replaced the tires. For me it was just the right combo of price vs. what I wanted. I would have easily paid 32k for your car.

At the risk of looking like the idiot who paid too much...I just purchased (in July), a 2004 996 C2, factory aero kit with 65k miles and paid $31k. While I definately know I could have purchased a lessser mileage car for the same money... I looked at more than a dozen 996's of various mileage and price. it come down to the upgrades, over all condition; belief in the previous owner/records, it was always a California car (shipped to me in Florida) which to me meant no salt/snow/rust concerns; clean carfax, pre purchase inspection (california) post inspection by my mechanic (florida); all maintenance records (religious oil changes etc) from the original dealer, new clutch, new tires, 19" Work wheels, factory aero kit, H&R Coilovers, 500watt Apline Amp/receiver/cd changer/JL Audio speakers, super clean paint and interior....and I am the second owner. Mileage was/is a major concern but it received two clean bills of health. The ONLY issues are a dead key remote and its probably 3/4" too low! I have NO remorse for what I "over-paid". Absolutely look for the best price, but "best" isnt always the least expensive.

You think 65k is a lot of mileage? Given the concerns around the 996 engine (which are overblown constantly) 65k on a 6 year old car is a great mileage for the car you chose. Not too much (just over 10K a year) not so little that you have to fret over gaskets/seals/bearings failing prematurely because the car wasn't driven regularly.
You also have one of youngest 996s out there (yes I know they made some in 2005).
Plus factory aerokit?
You got a great deal on the car. Be happy. go drive.

i think the problem is that these cars has hit the $20K mark.... but in all reality, the better ones are closer to $30k. People should not just look at the lowest prices..... you do get what you pay for with the 996.

I do casually wonder about the effect of color on price. I searched a long time for a red 996 - surprisingly hard to find. Purhaps the overwhleming popularity of silver and dark metallics will eventually run its course and then my rare Orient Red will be more valuable...

Uh, what makes you think you overpaid?

Thanks everyone. Sorry I was out of the country on business for the past couple weeks and never checked back. I appreciate all the comments. I think I'm just going to hang on to it and add another to the collection.

I looked a 15 other 996's before I picked on my 02 996 Cab, with >50k full service history, all the options I wanted and nothing I didn't for $32k from a dealer. I wanted to get a super clean car and thats what I found. I know I could have paid less but I got the car I wanted for a price I was willing to pay.
It's easy to look around after the fact and always find better deals. At the end of the day you just have to find something you like, buy it for a price you are comfortable with, and drive the hell out of it.

$32K from a Porsche dealer for an 04 996 or 02 996?

You have to set yourself a budget (including fees and first year maintenance and emergency repairs) - and then buy the most car you can afford with that budget. If people tell you that you are $2K or $3K over or under what they think you should have paid - it's really irrelevant. If it's the car you have been looking for, with the options you want and it fits in your budget - then buy it.
I looked for a year for exactly the color / option / combo Mk2 - that fit in my price range, and I bought it and didn't look back - had plenty of 'expert' friends tell me "oh - you overpaid by $x - I could've gotten you a better deal" - but it really was an irrelevant discussion.
