Default Clear Headlight Trims - can I use them on my very early 1999

Here is the link to the eBay Clear Headlight Trims

Here are my headlights, what can I do with the amber bottoms? I think I can de-amber part of them. Is there a way to get my headlights clear?

i think that will only replace the corner reflector on the headlight, plus it doesn't look like you have headlight washers anyway..

This would be a great deal on ebay if it is truly the complete headlight assembly (which I doubt). Replacement lights are 500+ on Pelican & Suncoast.

To my knowledge, you would have to replace them with clear headlight units

You can't really de-amber the the early 996 headlights. In the early headlights the amber is on the exterior lens. You might be able to do just the corners, but that would look kind of strange IMHO. On the headlights starting in 2000 the corners where not amber and the amber on the turn signal was internal to the light assembly. You can remove this internal lens (I did it a few weeks ago) to get rid of the amber.

for $30 I had mine tinted with a film.. not the best fix, but it looks better to me until I get the lights I want. :-)
