Default New Owner! 2003 C4 CAB

Hello I am the proud new owner of a 2003 Carrera 4 Cabriolet with 13k miles. I pick up the car next week and am very excited! I'm all ready planning my modifications, which include lowering it, H&R sways and the B&M shifter.

One question I have about doing the lowering is that I am looking to get Koni sports and I was wondering what springs work well with theses? Does anyone here have experience with these struts. I did try searching without any luck. Thanks you and I am excited to be part of the Porsche Community!

I'd suggest buying springs with the new Koni shocks, instead of mixing with OEM. Share your pics if you have any, and congrats on your purchase.

Here are a couple of pics they are just from a phone so they are pretty bad, I will snap some good ones next weekend after I pick it up

I am not planning on using the OEM springs since I would like to lower it. I was thinking about H&R's just wondering who has had experience.

I don't think you could do much better than an X74 suspension kit for your car. It's pre-assembled so install will be a breeze and Gert currently has them for a very good deal. I have no affiliation with Gert but have been totally satisfied with his service.

Nice looking Cab, Congrats!

Can you take a close up pic of the wheels and the wheel well? I've been thinking about getting a set of those wheels for my 02 cab.

+1 on getting the full suspension setup; not an area to cut costs on; your car will perform alot better than with mix and match parts.

The Orange side lights in the fenders.

I had clear on mine, and DMV made me go buy the Pep Boys orange plastic reflectors to stick on top of the clears - to get through inspections. Even had orange bulbs inside, but was not good enough for my DMV.

Is that midnight blue with a grey top? Sharp!
