Default Rattle muffler, took it down and there is a loose part?

Hey Guys,

I have an annoying rattle in my drivers side muffler. I took it off the car and flipped/shook it around a few times and there is a piece clearly loose in there...

You think I should operate on it and some how fix it... after tig/mig it with stainless steel?

Or should I just replace it?

I need some opinions...

Thanks

some people have just sliced them open and tacked the loose parts back on... weld er' back shut...

That said you have to have some welding skill for that. There are 3.4 cans that come up all the time for cheap and even 3.6 that do too... the other option is a Fister D replacement... they have a 1000 votes as "best value/sound for the money"
he uses OEM cans for his mods

see if I can find some pics for you

There is a set of 3.4s in Kingston for sale. Rickker has them for sale. I would sell you mine, but FisterD is getting them.

Here is a pic of the left muffler....

Tomorrow it's due for open heart surgery

If that doesn't really work, I will probably need to find the same one somewhere...

trade it in for some fister d's, and explain the circumstances..... never know, it might even be cheaper or a wash.
