Anybody have luck with Wheel Spacers?
I just had to have mine removed because they were causing my wheels to be slightly off-center - Lug-centric rather than hub-centric as the tire-guy explained. Created a horrible shimmy over 64mph. They were installed by the PO, and they made the car look awesome. Would love to find some that won't affect the ride. Any suggestions?

I just purchased a 2000 C4 - and I wonder if a set of 5 mil spacers I used successfull on my 1991 C2 will work OK. On that 911 I did not use longer studs. Would this be the same on the 996?

I think I have some extra Ruf hubcentric spacers somewhere. Maybe 5 or 7 mm. I'm not even sure any more I'll go look and update my post.
Edit: looks like I have both Ruf and HR 7mm spacers. I am positive the Ruf ones are hubcentric. If anyone needs them pm me. We'll figure out a price.

The 7mm Ruf spacers are PN R96 331 611 07. These are hubcentric and have the mounting screws. From Ruf they are $99 each! doh! Ruf parts manual, p. 6.
The 7mm H&R spacers are PN 1495716. They are NOT hubcentric and run around $75 for a pair.
I have a couple bags of lugs as well, but I don't know if they are the longer or not. I can check if anyone needs lugs.
I'll sell all 4 spacers for $150 shipped to you in the US.

Thanks guys. You're a big help. Now I just need to measure my old ones. Don't know the size, but they are huge! About an inch thick. Guess I need to do some metric conversion now. I'll try to post some pics later.
