I wondered this also and called Durametric. Answer was "no".
Took my car to have it programmed. Not bad, about $60.
They also programmed my passenger mirror to dip.
...I guess behave my horn sound on upon arming also!
If the horn sounds when locking the car (and arming the alarm), that may mean that one of the doors or hoods is not closed completely (or one of the contacts is not closing properly.)
Not sure if it's a programmable option to ALWAYS have the horn sound upon locking/arming.

Not always. I confirmed with the local dealer that my car had been programmed for a single 'beep' when locking. They used their little PC pluged into the OB2 port to check and they confirmed it was in fact programmed this way and it gave the date it was done and and dealer code, (Vegas) so they said the previous owner must have wanted it this way. I only asked about it while I was there for another reason and the tech plugged in to check for me. I had read all over here that I must have a problem if it beeps when locking. Now the dealer did say to me that if I hear TWO beeps then thats a problem. Your most likey correct 95% of the time on single beeps - but there are a few cars people must have spent some money on for reprogramming. I could care less and wouldn't have dropped any coin to make the car beep but I was currious to find the reason out and the tech offered to check for free as he had to plug in anyway.
You get one beep if the radio connection taken off, glove box open, or center console is open. Many people including myself will push the micro switch out of the way on the center console. This will now give you the signal beep. I promise you on the 04 and older this can NOT be programmed. If you get a double beep you are turning off the interior mostion alarm.
I did lots of searching and asking dealer(s) and indies before I found the center console trick.
If you look down into the latch of the center console you will see a small silver lever. That is the alarm switch. You take a small screwdriver and push the little lever/switch out of the way. Now the alarm will think the center console is always open and you WILL get a beep when you lock the car. Might not be a good solution for a cab but a coupe it works great. If you dont like the results you can always move the little lever back.
