Just an FYI, email reply from the manufacturer:

Hi Mr. Hans,

I have received your email regard our Ruger Porsche wheels size availability.

Unfortunately all our Ruger wheels only come in 19” staggered set up, and we have no plans for the 18” sizes at this moment.

Hope your customer will be ok with the 19” size.

+1, also speedometer, and on AWD will dictate the relative load on the front diff, especially with a large difference in RD as the OP has with the 305/30 (assume the fronts are 235 or 245/35 so 25.5ish RD, pretty big difference)

Running as you are is a not so great idea which will have no short term consequences but may have long term consequences in terms of limit/emergency handling/braking, speeding tickets (just use a GPS to figure out your speedo error and you can correct for this though) and potential mechanical failure. You can mitigate some of this, but not all of it. The ideal solution is to run the tire which porsche fits on the 997s wit 19x11 and 19x12 wheels, typically 315/25R, which puts you in at 25.2 RD, (inside of 1% with 235/35 fronts)

All of a sudden I am very happy with my lightweight 18" wheels

Much better. Remember, Porsche AG NEVER equipped any of their cars with CHROME wheels. There's a reason for that.

Interesting. I just assumed since i thought they were more "shiny" than the 40th which I thought was polished.

Did they ever offer the option for this bling that belongs on big SUV's???
