I am looking at a seller of a 996 that discribes the C4 as a Millennium Edition 911.
Problem is the car is silver with Black leather and lots of silver trim. When I search for the millennium edition 911 it would appear that they where all a Black/Purple Metalic paint exterior, and Natural Brown interior, with Wood trim. Anyone know if there was a silver version? Or was this just a Dealer kit with lots of options and not the Official 911 for the Millennium?

You are correct, the car you are looking at is NOT a millennium edition.
They were all Black/Purple Metalic paint exterior/ Natural Brown interior/Wood trim

Violettachromaflair was the color - a tri-stage pearl that changes prismatically in the light. We still have plugs in that color.

I've seen a few Millenniums repainted too......

Eric... Ill take a couple of plugs with that color.... do you paint bumperettes in violetchromaflair color as well, if so Im interested.?

To the OP.... maybe the dealer has the 40th edition instead?

yep, 2wd only.... there is a typo in the ad. Black interior with silver is the 40th, maybe the dealer got them confused.

What year is the car? That should determine Millenium vs. 40th...
