If you can get black rear window louvers then the black bra would be ok !

Leave is naked until you get it repainted, then get a clear bra.

I dove off the deep end and got the whole car wrapped, or a full body bra. I suppose it's actually closer to a bra, a girdle and panty hose.

Anyone who has had a bra on their car for at least 3 or 4 months... then removed it to see what it's doing to the paint will tell you NO WAY NO HOW. I'll never understand how a product that does infinately more damage to what it's supposed to protect rather than nothing at all ever caught on. Sounds good in theory but leaves, dust, grime, bugs, etc... will get caught under there and just go to town scratching your paint every time you take a drive. Clear bra or nothing at all.

That said, if you do a clear bra get a high quality 3M product or something similar or it will yellow in about a year and be just as annoying.

I used a vinyl bra on my old 996. Since it was a black car, it didn't change the look all that much. I'm one of the few who thought it was a good idea. I was in the same boat - bought the car used and the front end did not warrant a clear bra without a respray. So in the interim I opted for the bra for long trips, track days, and daily when it was good weather. I put it on only after washing the car and if it stayed on for more than a few days (Texas summers can go several weeks without rain), i removed it and quick detailed the paint to remove any crud that got under it. If I ever got caught in the rain, i would pull over and remove it. I never drove in the rain or left it on if the car got rained on in a parking lot. Kind of a PIA, but it did save my paint from a ton of chips. The highways i drive are frequented by lots of semis, gravel trucks, etc. so to me it was worth the trouble.

I picked up the half-bra redridge has (thanks again!). Got it from SpeedLingerie.com
My car is black so I also have the black one, but I understand they color match to your paint. Quality and fit is good. Install is real simple and it doesn't flap around in the wind.
You do have to maintain per Jeff's. I also have a clear bra, so paint damage from the bra is remote (maybe over kill?!).

I use a Colgan bra on my car for trips from Texas to California. It did help minimize the damage to the front end when I got hit by a large piece of metal in Arizona. when I get to my destination, I take off the bra, wash the car and wax around the area where the bra sits. Hasn't hurt my car at all.

What do you mean by "break out your old Members Only jacket"? Are you implying that the Members Only jackets have gone out of style?
