Drifting
Found it in the GT3 section of my PET program. The part number is 996.721.163.90, it is called a "foam Tray." The list is $98.12 and Porscheeomparts.com has it for $75.58. They are usually the same as Sunset and Suncoast but have an on-line look-up that is helpful.
Tempting. I have the spare and then an amp and crossovers that I have never permanently mounted. With a C4 the gas tank and drive mechanism takes up a lot of trunk space. If I eliminated the spare and used this I could then build a shelf to fit above it for the amp and crossovers, and still have more space in the trunk. In ten years of having my 996 I have never used the spare. Fix a flat and the pump would probably do it.
