I asked my seller to see if he would agree to go drop it off over there...

I cannot believe how they offer free shipping when you buy a fridge online if the shipping cost is almost the same price as the appliance... there is something I don't understand here

I had a GT3 bumper cover shipped from Florida a few years ago and the seller used Bax Global. I was concerned at first since I had never heard of them. They delivered to my door and called me in advance. Item was shipped boxed for about $100. I have no idea what it would cost today, but it may be worth checking.

Shipping; do as all the pros ship bumpers, none use a box. Thats a $150 charge. and By truck.
You wrap it in bubble wrap and ship it fedx ground or ups for about $30 to $60

but when I go to ups and I give the dimension it says I am over and it goes to a special freight thing, super expensive... thanks for the pics though it helps. I am still trying to figure this out.

I checked baxglobal, now schenker, it cost $200 for a 77x29x23 box.

#1 dont go to ups. I only use fedx ground. But I have recieved them from both ups and fedx so I know they both do it.
I have shipped 3 in the last 2 months. They dont care about dimensions when you show up with it and hand it over. They do it alot. The last one I shipped was $45

humm that's a new one... so you were able to send the bumper by simply showing up at the ups store unexpectedly
Did you ship with the box or as in the picture above, bubble wrapped only.

Tomorrow I will go to my ups store and see what they say.

I went to ups store and they went by their computer and said they could not take it ... last resort is freight shipping. I'll see if I can find something but it is quite expensive. I wonder how you guys manage to ship bumper for $100.

Why don't you just let me know who the seller is and I will buy it and have it shipped to my house. I can use it on my other car

I have shipped and received numerous bumpers including full body kits via Greyhound. They are actually more careful than Fedex or UPS based on my previous experiences.

Most people just bubble wrap the bumper cover itself and ship it that way. If you ever get a chance to go back in the holding rooms where they hold all the shipments, you'll see most bumpers packed this way.

The fact that it's Urethane is even less risky since there's very little chance of cracking it like you can with fiberglass parts.

Just contact the seller and negotiate a price INCLUDING shipping. Then let him worry about how to get it shipped to you.

This should already be on your car by now.

With my recent car idle problem, I am afraid I will have to pass this bumper and send my car to the dealer instead.

PM me is you are interested in the bumper, I'll send you the email of the seller.
