I'm guessing it was moving and job related... but we're settled in now!

Now I can concentrate on more serious things like finding some good sport seats and getting some Fister D mufflers...

Glad your getting settled in your new location. Definately get the FisterDs, you'll love the transformation they make. Would you use a Porsche sport seat or aftermarket, of which there are many to choose from? Did you get any chance to spring ski...

I'd really rather have a Porsche OEM seat, but I should probably look at some aftermarket options. I'm also considering having my seats recovered. My Porsche dealer recommended an independent shop in Denver that specializes in high-end car seats, and they can get OEM Porsche leather. I may go that route. I'll get the Fister D's for sure, I'm just waiting to get the mufflers. I should have them next week.

I didn't get any spring skiing in this year, which is unfortunate. Luckily, we're only a few months away from the early opening. I hope we have a good ski year.

BTW - I'm attending a big company meeting in a few weeks in Indianapolis. I'm not sure if your son will be in attendance, but I'll look for him.

I thought I would be healthy and rode my bike to work today.

The whole way I was thinking "I love my car, I should have driven my car, I love my car" I was thinking it instead of saying it because since i've had the car the bike has been on the shelf.

damn fun drive in, WOT thru a twisty on ramp with a little tire squeal and rear end almost coming loose....this is not a 996, but its not a slug either !

I feell very fortunate to have ever owned a P-car and I hope to never be without one from here on out
Now now a little better on the practice. You need the throttle control and little slip sideways and snapping it back in still on it. I got a real funny one in the rain today

While laboring over seeing 3 guys that looked like friends stuck in what sounded like a great idea to get fancy bikes and outfits to work their tails off to get up hills I once again day dreamed about how many avid exercise oriented guys ended their regiment after buying a 911. Oh well enough worrying about suffering to feel all healthy when croaking. Drive on!

Blazingly hot on the east coast... in fact, I heard someone comment that it was "as hot as a half f----d fox in a forest fire"!

Regardless, I enjoyed the nice cool AC of my 996!
