so you guys that have had the classic know them and I get that you are happy with the 996 (or newer) but for those who have not, (like me) its like a right of passage.... something required in the Porsche ownership series. This is why I am where I am at. I need this, want it, love it - and if things work out I will have a long hood someday too.
for now I am happy and for those who have not owned a classic (err... at least older than say 90') 911, ya owe it to yourself to spend some time there. I drove about 150-200 miles yesterday and spend ALL day (7am to 6:30pm) at the track. I really cant think of a better way to get to know your car (any car)
