Many people like 15mm F & R. I went with 15mm F and 7mm R.

15 in the front and rear will give you the same stance as the 996 GT3. IMO, that is the max you want to run and also looks the best.

I would NOT run anything bigger than that. This is all based on the stock sizes and offsets of:

Front-->8et50
Rear-->10et65

my 18s have these offsets:
F: 7.5et50
R: 10et65
also, stock suspension; not lowered,,
still 15 is the way to go?

Absolutely, you actually have a few more mm to play with in front since you have the narrower 7.5" front wheels.

If you like I can post a pic of my 996 with GT3 wheels on it:
Front 8.5 et40
Rear 11 et63

Are you going to keep your current wheels and current ride height? If so, then you only need to get a good calculated measurement on how far out you want your wheels....

If you are upgrading the wheels and /or lowering your car, it gets a bit more technical....

I have a 13mm spacer up front; 19 X 8 wheel with 57mm offset; so effectively a 44mm offset. the car seems to handle alot better with the front spacers added.

in the rear, I am going to try a 7mm spacer on a 19 X 11 wheel with 67mm offset. it looks like it'll work just right, and I hope it handles better too. If not, I'm happy with the front spacers only.

Tires also play a minor role due to how the sidewall is designed and effectively how the car will look with the spacers.

Sorry I do not have a good pics of the wheels with the front spacers....but heres one with the 19's and no spacers..

remember to get the hubcentric spacers & correct length lug bolts.

getting the alignment dialed in may help on how the rear looks.

the fronts were tucked in just a bit and since I do not have the car lowered, bringing the fronts out made it look better and improved the handling alot more.

I am going to try the 7mm out back and see if it's noticeable; if it improves handling....another plus...

The tires do not rub whatsoever...

No, no spacers when using the GT3 wheels. The example I was trying to provide is what your stock wheels would look like 15mm spacers.

Stock wheels + 15mm spacers = GT3 wheels with no spacers.

14mm spacers front, 7mm rear

Sorry, I don't have a pic looking squarely at the rear of the car.
